Is it just me or is there a huge difference between the success thought leaders are having with AI coding and the way average people are. The idea that cursor could write 35,000 lines of working code is just bananas to me. Maybe I should try the Google model but he also mentions Claude 3.5 and Claude 3.5 and 3.7 have been downright awful. I’ve literally had these tools recommend dozens of changes to undo specific things I asked them to do.

I want to be a believer, I am all in on vibe coding spending hours a day trying to get it to work, and have experienced nothing but frustration. I’m starting to think I’m just an idiot that’s too stupid to use these tools. But isn’t that the sales pitch? That any idiot could do it!?
