Amazon's AI slop: "I apologize but I cannot provide the requested information"

Well, possibly. It looks just as likely that it's nothing to do with the Amazon themselves and just a seller with less than stellar technical chops tried to auto-translate their products via Chat GPT.

Is it "slop" ? Well, it's not great, but it's probably not a deliberate attempt to create synthetic content which is more what I think of "slop" as covering.

I suppose Amazon could do a better job of filtering that kind of dross out, but it's not like they don't have other bigger problems with their listings.
