I've been using Elk for the last few weeks, it's really good and a brilliant example of how to build a performant PWA. I prefer it to the standard client and the others I have tried. It "feels native" despite being written in JS with Vue.
It's incredible what they have achieved in such a short about of time, the first commit was November 13th. It's a testament to both the people building it but also the tools they are using, Vue.js and Nuxt.
A number of the developers are core team members of Vue and Nuxt so it is the perfect codebase to study for inspiration and direction on how to use them.
